Posted under Writing and Speaking by admin on Wednesday 17 March 2010 at 2:55 pm

If you hold your faith in God in high esteem, then for sure you want to take care of his Word as well by getting leather bible covers.

What is Leather Bible Covers

Using a bible cover for your Bible is important since it helps protect it from excessive damage.

Bibles are a main element in the Christian faith. They are an excellent way to understand and read the story of the Lord as well as the development of mankind throughout history.

There are actually over 40 writers for the Bible and it has been around for centuries now. Despite the variety in writers and having more than 66 books, it is considered to have one central theme and storyline.

The Bible is divided between the Old Testament and the New Testament. They separated it according to the information that it presented.

Everything that has happened in the past or before Christ is written and accounted for in the Old Testament. It is made up of 39 books if you base it on the Protestant Bible, but there are 46-47 in the Catholic Bible.

After about 400 years, the New Testament came to be written. The 400 years is also known as “silent years.” Some events that happened in this period are found in the Catholic Bible in the Apocrypha books.

The New Testament then tackles the coming of Christ and events surrounding the crucifixion, on towards the coming future set in Revelations.

For most Christians, the Bible is the only book that actually contains the whole history of humankind. Hence, it is proper to protect it by getting Bible covers.

Uses of Leather Bible Covers

One great way of keeping your bible protected is by using leather bible covers. It is possible to keep it away from dust and other harmful things that could go ahead and damage it.

There are many Bible covers available and most are made from different materials, however, if you want something that will last a long time, then get the leather ones.

Before making the purchase, there are several things that you need to keep in mind.

First, find out the right size for your Bible. Different covers have different sizes, so it is important to get the right one to ensure a snug fit for your Bible.

Second, choose a color. There are plenty of great colors that you can choose from. For instance, most women like to have bold colors for their cover like red.

Men usually like dark blue or black while teenage girls sometimes go for hot pink or bright purple.

Third, look for the right design. Your bible covers also reflect your personality. Thus, if you want to showcase your style then you can look for designs that fit your identity. You can go for a simple one to an ornate one; it’s really up to you in the end.

In the end, picking out the right leather Bible covers might take some determination, just like when you shop for anything else.

The bottom line is that you need to pick a design or color that makes you happy and most importantly protects your special Bible.

How to use article marketing to increase traffic

Posted under Writing and Speaking by admin on Wednesday 17 March 2010 at 2:55 pm

Article marketing has turned into a strategy of conquering new market niches by means of content material. Informative materials are published to emphasize a certain domain of activity, and with the help of links incorporated in the web content, marketers manage to increase web site exposure and traffic. This system has proved very efficient for advertising on low budgets, as well as for the considerable increase of the traffic level. Yet, it all starts with article marketing research.

The very purpose of article marketing research is to find out what customers look for. This helps marketers identify the most interesting topics for readers, and therefore write their content starting from these premises. The outcome of article marketing research thus turns into the creation of that ‘catchy’ background that convinces the reader to click on a link and change the web page. Several elements ought to be analyzed for a good coordination; thus, the essence of research strategies can be defined as the identification of the consumers’ behaviors, attitudes and preferences.

There are various methods to perform article marketing research but the business model you create depends on the course of action you choose for achieving market exposure. Do you rely on article market research for B2B (business-to-business) relationships or for B2C (business-to-customer)? Each of these two models has its specifics and requires a different overall approach of article marketing. Normally, you won’t make management decisions solely on intuition and feeling, but also on the information gathered in the form of marketing research.

The nature of the articles content will thus be determined starting from the results obtained from article marketing research. Keywords are extremely important at this level because they give the topic of the articles! Determine the keywords that best correspond to your product, service or domain and then create the informative content around them. On all situations you need to keep the information reader friendly.

A very frequent mistake web marketers make is to get a very high keyword density in the articles they use to market their business. Yet, such strategies could be detrimental on the long run by the negative impression on the readers and the official search engine policy related to keyword density. If you keep the content informative and the keyword density between 1% and 3%, then you are safe from a negative reaction on the reader’s part, and search engines will perform good indexation.

Where Do They Get Bottled Water?

Posted under Writing and Speaking by admin on Wednesday 17 March 2010 at 2:55 pm

Bottled water court decisions give us quick glimpses into the sources of bottled water. For example:

* The Nestln company, which bottles water under several well-known labels, fought ferociously in court to retain its rights to appropriate water from the Great Lakes ?to put in bottles ?to sell to you and me. When Michigan’s government instituted a new law that allows Nestl?Corporation to continue taking up to 250,000 gallons per day, and sell them at a markup well over 240 times its production cost, Nestl?dropped the court battle.

* In Vermont, oland Spring (also a Nestl product) was brought to court with a complaint that the bottled water in oland Spring?came not from "some of the most pristine and protected sources deep in the woods of Maine," as advertised, but from other sources. In fact, on occasion, the water was trucked in from an unknown source out of state! But the court reasoned that Congress and the FDA made a conscious choice to allow states to regulate bottled water as long as their standards matched FDA standards. The bottled water met both standards, even though the source and advertised source were not the same.

What is bottled water?

The United States Food and Drug Administration says bottled water is any water meant for humans to drink that is sealed in bottles with nothing added except?

Aye, There's The Rub!

As William Shakespeare said in Hamlet, speaking of sleep and death, eye, there’s the rub.?

Bottled water may have nothing added except, and suddenly, with that small phrase, bottled water becomes something other than the pure water we thought we were buying.

?except what? Well, bottled water may contain safe and suitable antimicrobial agents?if the bottler wishes. Fluoride may be added, but it has to be within established limitations, of course. So that's what bottled water is.

Where Do They Get Bottled Water From?

Excuse the preposition at the end, but this question is frequently being asked just that way. Where do they get bottled water from?

As seen in the court cases cited above, they get bottled water from various sources: lakes, streams, wells, springs, glacier run-off, and even from municipal water supplies.

Bottled Water May Be Tap Water

You will probably be surprised to learn that they get at least 25% of our bottled water right from the tap. Bottlers simply bottle the local tap water, label it, and ship it off to stores. Sometimes they treat it first ?sometimes they don’t. We consumers pay up to 10,000 times more per gallon for bottled water than we would pay for tap water.

When A Son Loses His Father – When the Winter Thaws

When A Son Loses His Father - When the Winter Thaws

When a Son Loses His Father

(Poetry Version) – Original Poem and Song Lyrics, about

the death of a father and the lesson learned from a son’s perspective

Now that he’s without him
what is he working for
He had never truly realized
His dad drove him to want more
With working came acceptance
replaced emotions he concedes and his father unavailable,
he kept his schedule filled with deeds,
When his father passed away
it broke him to the core
just learning he and his dad
had things in common they stood for
His dad had loved unconditionally,
despite his character flaws
and perhaps was thinking he’d call his son
when the winter thaws
but winters came and went
and neither reached to call
yet they truly loved each other
despite their voices being awol
His imperfect life with his Dad,
is now the oddest gift he treasures
He’s vowed to be a father
for his sons to proudly measure
He says “I love you” to his kids,
and has being saying so for many years
then thinks of what he missed
with his Dad,
and it reduces him to tears
Nothing can make that emptiness go
he carries the lesson learned
Knowing now to speak his love out loud
not said to be returned
When a son loses his father
a part of himself fades into the light
as do the words he rarely stated,
like, “Dad, nice to hear from you tonight”
or picking up the phone to say,
“hi dad, did you just hear”,
are calls he wished he’d made
while he wipes away a tear,
Now in a prayer he says, “I love you Dad”,
to the heavens he kneels and pleads
and wonders if his fathers knows
that his love’s so strong, it bleeds
“Dad, in case you didn’t know it,
I love you more than I can say
I always tell my kids I love them
I learned that the hard way,
and in my heart,
my father,
you shall always stay”.

Song Lyric Version of

When A Son Loses His Father

(VERSE ONE)
Now that he’s without him
what is he workin’ for
He had never truly realized
His dad drove him to want more
With workin’ came acceptance
replaced emotions he concedes
and his father unavailable,
he kept his schedule filled with deeds,
When his father passed away
it really broke him to the core
just learning he and his dad
had things in common they stood for

(CHORUS)
His dad had loved unconditionally,
despite his character flaws
and perhaps was thinking he’d call his son
when the winter thaws
but winters came and went
and neither reached to call
yet they truly loved each other
despite their voices being awol
His imperfect life with his Dad,
is now the oddest gift he treasures
He’s vowed to be a father
for his sons to proudly measure
He says “I love you” to his kids,
and has being saying so for many years
then thinks of what he missed
with his Dad,
and it reduces him to tears
Nothing can make that emptiness go
he carries the lesson learned
Knowing now to speak his love out loud
not said to be returned

(VERSE TWO)
When a son loses his father
a part of himself fades into the light
as do the words he rarely stated,
like, “Dad, nice to hear from you tonight”
or picking up the phone to say,
“hi dad, did you just hear”,
are calls he wished he’d made
while he wipes away a tear,
Now in a prayer he says, “I love you Dad”,
to the heavens he kneels and pleads
and wonders if his fathers knows
that his love’s so strong, it bleeds
“Dad, in case you didn’t know it,
I love you more than I can say
I always tell my kids I love them
I learned that the hard way,
and in my heart,
my father,
you shall always stay”.

(BRIDGE into Final Chorus)
Winters passed into the night
like this father and this son
too late to change the way it went
too late to change a wrong, he says
“Goodbye my father,
I love you more than I thought I might
and Despite my life’s hard journey
in my heart there’s only light
and to have this love in me,
you must have done a few things right”

Although winters came and went
and neither reached to call
they truly loved each other
despite their voices being awol
Nothing can make that emptiness go
he carries the lesson learned
Knowing now to speak his love out loud
not said to be returned
“Dad, I’m sure you truly know it,
I love you more than I can say
because I always tell my kids I love them
I learned from our mistakes,
and in my heart,
my father,
you shall always stay”.

Your Key to Dealing With Tough Economic Times and Expensive Heath Care Bills…

Posted under Writing and Speaking by admin on Monday 15 March 2010 at 3:52 am

You may not be very surprised to learn that times are tough right now for many people throughout the country.  You hear that the official unemployment rate is about 10% but secretly, many people say it is much higher.

However, this article isn’t really about doom and gloom.  In fact, I want to believe that things are going to get better, just like you most likely do.

Health is very important to us. And when times get tough, people get stressed. Sometimes this takes a toll on your health.

It is no secret that many researchers have discovered evidence that suggests the health of our bodies are very connected to the health of our mouths. Yet people have problems with this in many regards!

One is the cost of dental treatment. The other is a lack of understanding, about how to improve dental health at home. These two factors are very related. If you understand good home care, you have a much better chance to keep your teeth and gums healthy AND avoiding expensive dental bills at the same time.

Here are some tools that can help.

1. The hydrofloss -  Oral irrigation can be very helpful to your dental health – however this particular device is, in my opinion the best. It has been studied and the studies have been published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology not once, but twice!

2. Therabreath moutwash – pH balanced, oxygenated mouthwash – very powerful for combatting bad breath and even gum disease.

Taking care of your dental health often needs to extend beyond just regular toothbrushing and flossing. After all, if they were enough to truly maintain your dental health, then why are so many people walking around that need or have had expensive dental treatments?  In time, you will begin to understand that what you do at home can have a major impact on your health, well-being and your wallet – all at the same time!

Get more information on this topic from the book: What You Should Know about Gum Disease – available at Amazon and other online book sellers.

If you have or think you might have a health problem of any kind, visit your doctor or dentist for advice, diagnosis and treatment.  The USFDA has not evaluated statements about any products mentioned in this article.

How To Get Over Writers Block

Posted under Writing and Speaking by admin on Monday 15 March 2010 at 3:52 am

If you’re a writer, you have no doubt experienced writers block. No matter what you do, you just can’t find the right angle. Many writers, in fact, have writer’s block more often than they don’t! In an eight hour day, six of them are spent staring at a blank computer screen. Here is one good way to get past those blocks.

This and many other writers have found a great way to overcome writers block. They just give up on their assignment and do some creative writing for a little while. The idea is not to have any goal in mind, but just to write for the fun of it. Suspense books are fantastic for getting the juices flowing – they’re exciting and engaging and you can get lost in the creative process writing them.

Remember, you don’t have to write a masterpiece. Just write about whatever pops into your head. If you need an idea, look around you and pick the first thing you see. You might have a stack of handmade scrapbooking papers, for instance. A sheet of hand made paper is a perfect start!

Now write an opening paragraph using a sheet of that paper as part of the story. ‘It was just another day, ‘ you begin, ‘like any other day, until a single sheet of handmade paper was slipped under the door.’ What was written on that piece of paper? Was it from a debt collector or was it from a secret admirer?

Keep going with every thought that the images evoke. Was the note from a woman who says she has erotic fantasies about you and wants to arrange a rendezvous? Of course, you’re tempted, but is she for real or is somebody trying to trick you? You know you can’t resist, but you also know you’re going to have to be careful.

Hopefully, you’ve got your real writing assignment open in front of you. Stop working on your novel and get back to your assignment. Your mind is open to any possibility now, so the ideas should be flowing like mad. Ten minutes ago you couldn’t think of a thing to write. You were supposed to be describing the Giro Ski Helmet, but just couldn’t think of a way to make it sound interesting. Now, however, your character is going to need to have a good ski helmet to protect him in case his romantic interlude turns deadly!

You will be surprised at how well this technique works! If you’re writing somebody’s thesis, you’ll find a way to fit the thesis into your plot. Some of the best thrillers ever written were about technical themes like the chemistry of perfume. Try it! It’s fun and is a guaranteed way to get over writer’s block!

How To Write Blog Articles Faster And Better

Posted under Writing and Speaking by admin on Monday 15 March 2010 at 3:52 am

Blogging has become a way in which many people have found they can make a living. Some sell things online and others get paid to write blog posts and articles for others. Still other bloggers do both. They work on their own website and blog in their spare time and make a living blogging as their day job.

If you’re a professional blogger, you are going to be writing up to a hundred blog posts per week if you’re going to make decent money. No matter how fast you can type, you’re not going to get very far if you can’t think of anything to write about.

Blogging assignments change from one day to the next. Occasionally, you’ll be given an assignment to write a lot of articles about one thing. That’s great in one respect, because you only need to do your research once and then get down to making money blogging. You may have to research a subject you’re unfamiliar with. Spending an hour learning about scrapbooking papers, for instance, isn’t so bad if you follow up with a dozen or more articles about the subject.

If you’re given a technical assignment and they only want a single article, turn it down if it doesn’t negatively impact your job. If you have to spend three hours reading about the inner mechanism of a digital sport watch and then get paid for only 500 words, your hourly rate won’t amount to much. If all you have to do is write about how good the watch looks, though, that’s easy.

Some writers prefer to have to do all that fact gathering because facts give them ideas. If they’re given a vague assignment, they can’t think of a thing to say. How, for example, can you write 500 words about a black helmet? White helmets are white, black ones are black. End of story. How can you turn that into 500 words?

If you’re a technical writer, try to write a few non-technical articles. Turn off that part of your brain that tells you you’ve got to get the facts and let your feelings flow. White helmets are for chicks, black for bikers. That’s probably not universally true, but if it’s your angle, go for it! Aesthetics are always subjective, so your article won’t be rejected.

Creative writers often get frustrated by technical articles. If that sounds like you, just gather a few pertinent facts and weave them into your article, filling in the blanks with fluff. You’re writing a blog post, not a textbook, after all. All your employer is asking of you is that you write a certain number of informative words. He’s not asking for a Pulitzer Prize, so don’t get carried away. Keep it light and enjoyable and you will find yourself getting much more work done.

Is It Worth Writing Articles As A Form Of Web Promotion?

Posted under Writing and Speaking by admin on Monday 15 February 2010 at 4:18 pm

Around a year ago I wrote my first article and posted it to ezinearticles, which many people regard as the best article directory/website. I have to admit that I was very much a novice back then and had a real lack of understanding as to what was required. I continued to write more articles and continued to make mistakes.

Unlike other directories who seem to accept any old article, ezinearticles check what you are submitting. I am now spending a lot more time when I write the articles and feel that they have gradually improved, this has been confirmed by Wally himself I am pleased to report.

So do I personally think that article marketing is beneficial? Many people, from many different countries, have contacted me after reading one of my articles – this certainly puts a smile on my face and shows me that all of the hard work is worth it. Some of these people have included the article in their blog or on their website, thus creating an additional backward link to my website/s. They have helped my web promotion tips and DVD authoring websites to rise up the rankings and has also helped to promote the stuttering therapy service that I offer. I managed to stop stammering a few years ago and as a career I now help other people to achieve fluency.

Each and very person that gets to read the article is a potential visitor to your website – this is traffic you would not have course received had you not written the article. That visitor could of course turn into a client or purchaser of your product/s.

For me search engines are going down the path of seeing one-way backward links as by far the most powerful form of link.It can be far from easy to obtain these essential one-way backward links and this is where the real benefit of writing articles comes to the fore as it has the power to help you to gain an unlimited amount of links.
